Have you ever seen the destruction of a mine? 🧐 A PFM-1 anti-personnel mine was located and marked by an FSD's deminer near a residential area heavily affected by fighting in Kharkiv province. With only 5 kg of accumulated pressure required to operate, it posed a serious threat to the lives of people living nearby. As this landmine was too unstable to neutralise by hand, it was destroyed on-site by the Ukrainian State Emergency Service through a controlled explosion. Project supported by 🇺🇸 U
