Cosumnes Fire Recruits practiced rescuing themselves and their fellow firefighters in challenging situations, including training to be part of a RIC- rapid intervention crew. A RIC is a dedicated crew of firefighters assigned for rapid deployment to rescue lost or trapped team members.
